The Eutiner Railway Bridge, an industrial monument in Lübeck, Germany, continues to serve as an important connection for pedestrians and cyclists. This historic structure, built in 1927, is a significant part of Lübeck's railway history and a remnant of its past.

Originally connecting the city center with the Eutin-Lübeck railway line, the Eutiner Railway Bridge is approximately 50 meters long and 5 meters wide. It can be found on the Wallhalbinsel, connecting to the St. Lorenz Nord district.

The bridge, now used exclusively for pedestrian and bicycle traffic, has contributed to the preservation of Lübeck's cultural heritage. In 2011, it lost its function for train traffic, but its historical value remains undiminished.

In January 2025, the Eutiner Railway Bridge was closed for renovation work. The aim was to ensure traffic safety and increase the load-bearing capacity of the bridge. During the renovation, steel plates were laid to achieve these objectives.

The renovation work took place on-site at the Eutiner location. While specific details about the renovation site in Lübeck itself were not directly found, it is known that the renovation took place there.

For those interested in exploring Lübeck, the Eutiner Railway Bridge is easily accessible. You can find it on Google Maps here.

The Eutiner Railway Bridge remains a significant industrial monument and a testament to Lübeck's railway past. A photo of the bridge can be found under Creative Commons Conditions 3.0, taken by Author JanTappenbeck.
