Celebratory Anniversary Event Kicks Off at Local Park, Marking a Decade of Rock Music
Let's ROCK in Nuremberg: A 30-Year Anniversary Bash
Prepare for three days of thunderous music, a sea of fans, and record-breaking performances - Rock im Park is celebrating its 30th birthday in style! From Friday, the city of Nuremberg will be pulsating with the rhythm of 90,000 music enthusiasts and an unprecedented 100 acts gracing four stages. But will the weather play spoilsport?
Among the festivities, music fans can also enjoy a mini carnival with go-karts and thrilling rides. On Sunday, they'll be in for a birthday surprise as two unidentified bands are scheduled to rock the main stage.
The twin festival, Rock am Ring in the Eifel, is celebrating its 40th anniversary simultaneously, hosting almost the same lineup with US metalheads Slipknot and Korn, and British rockers Bring Me the Horizon headlining.
Everything's Sold Out!
Many enthusiasts have already staked their claim on camping spots, using wheelbarrows to haul their gear on Thursday. Some even snagged the prime spots a day earlier. However, those aiming for a last-minute rush are out of luck - the festival is sold out, with not a single day ticket available.
As for the weather, the German Weather Service predicts drizzles on all three days, with temperatures hovering around summer levels. Fret not, the sun might make some cameo appearances!
