MOBIworld Expands Bike-Sharing Network in Dresden

Dresden, Germany - MOBIworld, a popular bike-sharing service, is set to expand its network in Dresden by the end of the year. The expansion will see the addition of three more stations and 400 more bikes, bringing the total number of rental bikes to over 1,950.

The celebration of this expansion takes place at Wasaplatz in Dresden this Friday. The event, open to the public, is part of MOBIworld's fifth anniversary celebrations in the city.

Since 2018, 60 MOBI stations have been set up in Dresden, and the service has proven to be a success. The number of annual rentals has grown from 360,000 to over two million.

The event will include a variety of activities related to bike-sharing and car-sharing. Participants can enjoy a bike balancing competition, a car-sharing packing challenge, and on-site bike repairs. The event is a family event, and all are welcome to attend.

In addition to regular bikes, MOBIworld also offers cargo bikes for rent. These were introduced in Dresden last August and have become popular with residents and visitors alike.

The event will run from 10 am to 6 pm, and a birthday cake will be provided to mark the occasion. So, whether you're a seasoned MOBI user or new to the service, come along and join in the celebrations!
