Expansion of Deko Chains in Franconia: Home Service Shops Advance Forward
Butlers Expands Presence in Franconia with New Stores in Coburg and Fürth
Butlers, the popular home furnishings retailer, has continued its expansion in Franconia with the opening of two new stores in Coburg and Fürth. The new stores, which opened on September 13, 2025, and September 25, 2025, respectively, join the existing branches in Würzburg, Erlangen, and Nuremberg.
The new Butlers store in Coburg, located at Spitalgasse 12-14, spans two floors and offers a total of 650 square meters of retail space. The store carries a wide range of items for decoration, living, kitchen, and various gift options. This marks the fourth Butlers location in Franconia and is considered an exciting addition to the city's shopping scene.
Meanwhile, the store in Fürth will be situated in the Neue Mitte shopping complex. With approximately 300 square meters of retail space, it will provide customers with a selection of home furnishings, similar to the one offered in the Coburg store.
The expansion of Butlers in Franconia is part of a larger realignment process undertaken by the company. Since 2022, Butlers has been owned by the online furniture retailer Home24, and the company has been actively working on expanding its physical store presence.
It's not just Butlers that is expanding in the region. Ikea, another popular furniture retailer, is set to open a new store in Nuremberg, with the opening scheduled for early October. As of now, Ikea has a pop-up store in Bamberg, but this is not a permanent location.
Last year, the Butlers store in Erlangen changed its location within the same street, and the store in Bamberg is a pop-up store, not a permanent location. Butlers currently operates a network of around 120 stores in ten countries, and the expansion in Franconia is a testament to the company's commitment to growth and customer service.
While the company has not announced any specific opening offers for the stores in Coburg or Fürth, customers can expect the same high-quality products and service that Butlers is known for. With these new stores, residents of Franconia now have even more options when it comes to furnishing their homes.
