Experiencing the most vibrant encounters during Ekaterinburg's Night of Museums.
Y'all, mark your calendars for the Museum Night festivities happening in the heart of Yekaterinburg, Russia, this year! This bubbling city will be dedicated to the theme "Heroes", opening over a hundred venues, beckoning us to dive into their exhibition projects, and get a dose of inspiration and enlightenment from significant historical events, brave souls, and modern-day legends.
Let's start the ride with a daytime program from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A whopping 62 venues will be ready to captivate children with their cleverly designed activities, making this celebration an unforgettable experience for the whole family!
For young ones under 18, admission is on the house! However, adult escorting charges might apply for some activities. Don't miss out on the multimedia historical park "Russia - My History. Sverdlovsk Region," which will unveil an exhibition about military medics, "Save and Return." The little ones can test their flying skills on flight simulators, let their creative juices flow by crafting military equipment from LEGO bricks at "Shuravi" museum, and much more!
As the sun sets, the real party begins! At 6 PM sharp, 83 venues will join the festivities, with some extending their hours until 2 AM. Be sure to check the hours in advance to catch every anticipated moment!
Just like every year, "Museum Night" guests will have the chance to purchase a "unified ticket" for a mere 500 rubles. This ticket gives you access to five venues, including renowned city and regional museums – a perfect way to save some rubles while exploring the city's culture and history!
Additionally, 39 venues will offer free admission, including the Museum of Classic American and Soviet Retro Cars, the Museum of the Institute of Electrophysics, and the Center for the History of the Ural Volunteer Tank Corps.
