Exploring the topography on foot in Harburg
On Thursday, June 20, the Hamburg Wandergruppe is organising a guided hike along the picturesque Horner Geest landscape axis in Harburg, Hamburg.
Route: The hike will take participants through the scenic Horner Geest terrain, starting from the Hammer Park district park and passing by key natural and cultural spots. The trail covers approximately 14 kilometers, showcasing forests, meadows, and historic sites.
Meeting Point and Transportation: The meeting point for the hike is U-Bahnhof Hammer Kirche at 10:20 am. To reach the meeting point, take S 3 or S 31 trains from Hamburg-Hbf., which will bring you to Jungfernstieg. From there, transfer to U 4 at 10:10 am to reach Hammer Kirche station. Alternatively, you can reach various trailheads around the Horner Geest by public transport or car.

The hike will conclude at U-Bahnhof Billstedt, and a coffee break is included in the itinerary.
