Solingen residents are advised to take note of the revised collection schedule for their Christmas trees, as announced by the city's waste management. The updated schedule can be found in the city's waste calendar, as well as the waste navigator, available on the official Solingen city website.

Originally scheduled for Friday, January 10th, the collection of Christmas trees has been rescheduled to Monday, January 13th. Collection points will be set up across the city to facilitate the collection of the trees.

It is important to note that the revised collection schedule does not affect the collection of used Christmas trees. However, the delay in the collection of Christmas trees will cause a slight adjustment to the regular waste collection schedule.

For the week following the rescheduled Christmas tree collection, the collection of residual and organic waste bins, as well as the yellow and blue residual waste bins, will be delayed by one day. Each subsequent collection will be one day later, until the Friday collection is made up on Saturday, January 18th.

To ensure a smooth collection process, residents are asked to place their undecorated Christmas trees visibly in front of their properties by 7:00 AM on the day of collection. The trees must not hinder or endanger traffic. Only undecorated trees without nets, bags, or ornaments will be taken.

The collection of the Christmas trees will be carried out by the Technical Operations of Solingen (TBS). The collected trees will be composted at the composting facility of Entsorgung Solingen.

The changes in the waste calendar are due to the rescheduled Christmas tree collection. It is recommended that residents check the official Solingen city website or local government waste management page for the most up-to-date information. If the website does not provide this information, residents can contact the Solingen municipal services directly for assistance.

The criteria for the collection of used Christmas trees remain unchanged. The trees must have a trunk diameter not exceeding 15 centimeters and a length not exceeding two meters.

In case you need further assistance in finding the exact Christmas tree collection dates and any schedule changes in Solingen, I can help expand the search to municipal or regional government sources.

In light of the rescheduled Christmas tree collection on Monday, January 13th, there will be a slight adjustment to the regular waste collection schedule in Solingen. The collection of residual and organic waste bins, as well as the yellow and blue residual waste bins, will be delayed by one day for the week following the rescheduled collection. This change in the schedule is related to the home-and-garden lifestyle, as the Christmas trees are part of the home-and-garden scene and are being collected by the Technical Operations of Solingen (TBS).
