Pre-sales for the Light Art Journey begin on October 25, 2025. The event kicks off on Wednesday, October 22, with a conversation with light artist Martin Pfeifle. Thomas Riedelsheimer will present the award-winning film 'Tracing Light - the Magic of Light' on the same day.
'Radial,' a light art object created in 2016, serves as a 'city gate' every night and can be found on Lange Straße. Maja Funke's temporary light art work 'Leuchten' will be presented at the Museum Stadt Lünen on October 24 at 8 PM.
The Light Art Journey will be guided by light art guide Dominik Olbrisch and will start in Lünen with a bus ride. The journey continues to Bergkamen and Unna, with stops at temporary light installations by Till Schwennbeck, Maja Funke, and a tour through the 'Light-Land-Scapes' exhibition in Unna.
