Giessen Autumn Fair Kicks Off September 27th with Free Rides & Family Day Fun
The Giessen Autumn Fair is set to kick off on September 27th, 2025, with a grand opening led by Mayor Frank-Tilo Becher at 1:45 PM. The fair, which runs until October 5th, promises a host of attractions and activities for all ages.
On opening day, visitors can enjoy free rides from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Throughout the fair, attractions include 'Robotix', 'Music Express', ghost train, 'Frisbee', 'The Crazy Construction Site', '1001 Nights', and 'Baby Fly'. For a unique family experience, visitors can try their hand at pumpkin carving with Clown Ichmael on Family Day, October 2nd, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Family Day also brings discounts on rides, walk-through attractions, and selected stands. The day will culminate in a spectacular fireworks display at around 9:00 PM. Volunteers can enjoy free rides and snacks on Volunteer Day, September 30th. The fairgrounds at Ringallee will host these exciting events.
