At Ananta Hotels & Resorts, directors Ashutosh and Mohit Goyal are leading the charge in creating unique and immersive guest experiences. One such example is the bamboo villa at their Ananta Spa & Resort in Jaipur, which offers a distinct architectural feature that merges ecological symbolism with a sensory guest experience.

The bamboo villa is a testament to the resort's broader concept, where villas are inspired by nature's primary elements—water, fire, earth, and bamboo—each creating a distinct emotional and architectural framework. Architect Kush Shah of Scarlett Designs translated this concept into a villa that invites guests to "slow down and soak in the calm."

The villa's design is centred around bamboo as both a structural and symbolic element, chosen for its strength, flexibility, and rootedness. The bamboo structure integrates woven textures, handcrafted elements, and earthy tones to create filtered natural light and a tranquil atmosphere, further enhancing the villa’s connection to nature.

Symbolically, bamboo in the villa’s architecture stands for resilience, flexibility, and a deep connection to the earth—qualities that align with the peaceful, rooted experience the spa aims to provide its guests. The villa's design thus not only honours bamboo’s ecological and cultural significance but uses it to shape a unique, calming space within the resort’s elemental theme.

As guests make their way to their villas, they are en route to an exciting and immersive experience. Upon check-in, they hand over their suitcases and receive keycards before being transported via golf cart to their villas. The anticipation builds as one guest asks another about their villa assignment.

The villas at Ananta Spa & Resort were designed with the intention of breathing life into the given brief. Principal Architect Kush Shah of Scarlett Designs helped bring each individual villa to life, ensuring that each element offered a framework not just for architecture, but for emotion at Ananta Spa & Resort.

Located in Ajabgarh and spanning over a 30-acre property, Ananta Spa & Resort is shrouded by the Aravallis. The resort's villas, including the bamboo villa, are part of a broader elemental categorization that aims to provide guests with a unique and immersive experience. As guests settle into their villas, they can look forward to a peaceful, rooted stay that reflects the strength, flexibility, and deep connection to the earth that bamboo symbolises.
