Horris' Bedroom Transformed: Cosy, Functional, and Clutter-Free
A bedroom in Horris' home has undergone a transformation, with a new layout and decor that creates a cosy and functional space.
The Nordal library lamp, once illuminating the sitting room, now casts a warm glow over the bedroom. A wall-mounted reading lamp supplements the lighting, making it perfect for late-night reading. The desk, tucked away in a corner to avoid blocking the window and radiator, offers ample workspace. It's paired with a second-hand desk chair from Hungary, currently awaiting refurbishment. The room's focal point is a 200 cm bed, which fits snugly with enough space left for a TV.
Storage solutions include a clothes rack with built-in storage, replacing a bulky wardrobe to maximise floor space. Simple wooden shelves, painted to match the wall colour, provide additional storage. A framed picture of Albin and his family adds a personal touch to the wall, while a corner gallery wall displays a Happy Mondays print and an old drawing by Albin. Textiles like cushions and a rug complete the look, making the room feel cosy and inviting.
The renovation of Horris' bedroom has resulted in a space that is both practical and inviting. The new layout and decor create a comfortable environment for relaxation and work, with plenty of storage solutions to keep the room clutter-free.
