In the heart of Los Angeles, at the outdoor Westfield in Century City, a new dining hotspot by Sbe Entertainment has emerged. The unique combination of two adjacent but distinct restaurants—Casa Dani and Katsuya—offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience that blends modern Andalusian paella with high-end Japanese sushi.
Casa Dani, overseen by three-Michelin-starred Spanish chef Dani García, brings a taste of Spain to the city. The restaurant's dining room is filled with neutral-toned leather banquettes and tables, anchored by a curved, hand-glazed green tile fireplace, creating an inviting Andalusian atmosphere. The menu features comforting paellas, truffled onion on tortilla slice, oxtail brioche with 'bull sauce', tomato tartare, and a burnt Basque cheesecake with an earthy goat's cheese.
Just a step away, Katsuya, a sushi concept by master chef Katsuya Uechi, continues its tradition of high-quality sushi. Signature dishes like spicy tuna tartare, yellowtail jalapeño, and rock shrimp are on offer, alongside toro tartare with Oscietra caviar and A5 wagyu tataki with 'truffle snow'. The Katsuya space evokes a raw, minimalist Japanese aesthetic with a monochrome palette.

The design of the connecting spaces was done by David Rockwell of the Rockwell Group, who has created distinct atmospheres for each restaurant.
