Largescale E-Waste Disposal Event Scheduled in La Salle County Once More

Ottawa residents, mark your calendars! This coming Saturday, the city will host a free electronics recycling event at the county government center. This one-day event, organised by La Salle County's Land Use Department, is open to the public and aims to provide a convenient and eco-friendly way to dispose of your unwanted electronic devices.

To participate, registration is required before Saturday. The registration process is straightforward and can be completed online via the provided link. Registration is free and serves multiple purposes, including managing the number of participants and ensuring a smooth operation of the event.

There is a limit of 2 televisions per vehicle for this event. However, if you have more than 2 televisions to recycle, you will need to register separately for each batch. Some of the electronics that can be recycled include televisions, cameras, cell phones, computers, microwaves, and Christmas lights.
