Live Session on Wildlife Identification: Focus on Small Mammals
The Suffolk Wildlife Trust is set to host an engaging online event, focusing on the identification of small British mammals. This webinar, titled "Wildlife Live Webinar - Small mammal ID", is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 25 November 2025, from 7-8.30 pm.
The webinar will be presented by Simone, an expert with a keen interest in small mammals and extensive experience in projects involving hazel dormice, harvest mice, water shrews, and many more species. During the session, Simone will provide simple identification tips for various species of mice, voles, and shrews found in Britain. The discussion will also delve into the different habitats where these small mammals are commonly found and their ecology.
Participants can expect a presentation, followed by a questions and answers session, making the webinar an excellent opportunity to learn and ask questions about small British mammals. The event will be held using the Zoom platform, and participants will receive instructions on how to join the webinar upon booking.
