Much anticipated reopening: Well-known holiday destination resumes activities

The picturesque town of Spaichingen, Germany, is set to welcome a revitalized local gem, the Trinity Hill Inn (Dreifaltigkeitsberg), following a careful renovation by the Vasileiadis-Sirsova family.

Originally serving as a local hospitality spot, the inn boasts a scenic location near the pilgrimage church, making it an ideal destination for visitors seeking a unique and authentic experience. The Vasileiadis family, who hail from Katerini, Greece, have taken over the inn with the intention of preserving its traditional charm while modernizing the facilities to meet contemporary standards.

The family's plans for the inn include restoring its historic architecture, improving guest accommodations, and enhancing the dining experience by offering a fusion of regional German and Greek-inspired cuisine, reflecting their heritage. The reopening aims to attract both locals and tourists, contributing to the cultural and economic life of the community.

Ioannis Vasileiadis, a member of the family, expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided by a Hirschbrauerei employee during their search for the inn. He is excited about the upcoming reopening and looks forward to welcoming guests, confident that the inn will provide a warm and cozy atmosphere.

The Vasileiadis family, including their three children who help out in the business, have moved from Nürtingen to Spaichingen. Julia Strecker from Oberndorf played a significant role in making the move easier for the couple, as they are now closer together. Many friends, including Julia Strecker, helped with the move and settling in.

In addition to the regular opening hours from Tuesday to Sunday, starting at 11:30 AM each day, the inn plans to offer an early breakfast on Sundays for hikers, churchgoers, or others. Furthermore, they will introduce a lunch menu from Tuesday to Friday and aim to create a romantic, relaxed atmosphere, possibly with soft music and a view from the terrace.

The inn previously operated as the Delphi restaurant in Nürtingen, offering a variety of dishes, including vegetarian options, German cuisine, and hearty meals priced around 20 euros per dish. The family struggled with the city-center location in Nürtingen for 15 years before deciding to move to Spaichingen, citing the additional challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic and intense competition as reasons for their departure.

For more detailed or up-to-date information about the reopening schedule or amenities, checking local Spaichingen news sources, the inn’s official website, or social media is recommended. The Trinity Hill Inn is scheduled to reopen on July 26th at 11:30 AM. Julia Strecker, among others, is excited about the inn's return, anticipating a new chapter in the town's cultural and culinary landscape.

At the Trinity Hill Inn, guests can expect a fusion of regional German and Greek-inspired food-and-drink options, catering to the diverse tastes of both locals and tourists. The inn's home-and-garden areas will reflect the Vasileiadis-Sirsova family's commitment to preserving the traditional charm of the property, providing a picturesque lifestyle experience for all visitors.
