Stater Bros. Markets is set to open its latest store in Highland, California, on June 25, marking a significant expansion for the grocery chain in the region. The new store, located at 27920 Greenspot Road, replaces a previous Highland location and spans just over 46,000 square feet, making it nearly double the size of its predecessor.

The new store is part of the Greenspot Crossings shopping center, developed by TREH Partners, and is designed to cater to time-crunched consumers. Stater Bros. has incorporated elements that enhance convenience and efficiency, such as grab-and-go options like sushi, burritos, sandwiches, salads, and Cleo & Leo fried chicken, which are likely to be available at the Highland store.

The store offers a wide variety of food experiences, including a full-service meat department featuring USDA Choice and Certified Angus Beef steaks, a selection of dry-aged beef, Hispanic sausages, and marinated chicken. The seafood department allows customers to season and steam their purchases for free. Fresh-cut fruit stations and a bakery department are also available, offering a range of healthy options.

In addition to the food offerings, the new store features a burrito bar and a selection of cheesy breads with various toppings, as well as the banner's popular fried chicken.

Stater Bros. CEO, Pete Van Helden, stated that the store is answering the need for fresh and affordable groceries in growing communities. The company, which operates nearly 170 supermarkets in Southern California and employs 18,000 associates, is No. 60 on The PG 100, Progressive Grocer's 2025 list of the top food and consumables retailers in North America.

The grand-opening celebration will continue all week with sampling events, grocery giveaways, and vendor appearances. The Citrus Valley High School Band will provide live music entertainment during the ribbon-cutting festivities on June 25.

As a gesture of goodwill, Stater Bros. Charities will donate a total of $30,000 to six local nonprofit organizations: the Highland District Council on Aging Inc., Highland Head Start, Citrus Valley High School ASB, Loma Linda University Pediatric Clinic, American Legion Post 421, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Council.

The new store in Highland is just one of the many renovations and openings across Stater Bros. locations, reflecting the company's commitment to meeting the needs of its customers in a convenient and efficient manner.
