The city of Nordhorn is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the permanent, full-time position of Employee (m/f/d) in the Park Control Center, commencing from January 1, 2026.

This role offers a permanent, full-time contract (39 hours per week) with a salary according to TVöD, with the potential to reach EG 5 TVöD based on qualifications. The position is located in the Park Control Center and comes with a range of benefits, including a company pension scheme, capital-forming benefits, attractive health management, and 30 days of vacation per year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of parking facilities and providing excellent customer service to citizens. This role requires a combination of technical understanding and strong communication skills, as the individual may be required to give testimony in court proceedings and prepare written statements.

Tasks associated with this role include receiving and processing disturbance reports and inquiries, technical maintenance of parking meters and system technology, issuing warnings, collecting data with mobile devices, preparing written statements, and giving testimony in court proceedings.

The position is divisible, and the individual will work shifts Monday to Friday 08:00-19:00, Saturday 09:00-18:00, alternating with four other colleagues. Flexible working hours are also offered.
