Under a canopy of wet weather, thousands of pilgrims have walked their way to the spiritual haven of Altoetting, a journey of 111 kilometers during the Regensburg foot pilgrimage. According to the news, around 5,000 souls have reached the destination, their hearts brimming with faith and determination.
A solemn pilgrimage service was scheduled in the resplendent St. Anna Basilica in the Upper Bavarian pilgrimage town, with the venerated pilgrimage cross taking a circuit around the Chapel of Grace.
The pilgrimage began with a priestly blessing as 3,000 believers set foot on their holy journey on a crisp, sun-kissed morning. As the days rolled on, more and more devotees joined the spiritual procession, their collective spiritual energy enveloping the earth beneath their feet.
