Prepare for Spooktacular Festivities! gratis Halloween Enjoyment at Lafayette's "Trick-or-Treat Avenue"
Get ready for some spooktacular fun! The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce is organizing the Trick or Treat Street event once again, promising a safe and engaging Halloween experience for children aged 9 and under.
This popular tradition, which has become a staple in the community, will take place on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The route for the event will span Mt. Diablo Blvd., from Lafayette Plaza to Dewing Ave.
As in previous years, local businesses along the route are expected to participate, decorating their storefronts and handing out treats to the little ghouls and goblins in costume. The exact list of participating businesses for 2024 is yet to be announced, but you can expect a host of familiar faces from the local retailers and merchants.
The event is designed to provide a fun and safe Halloween experience, with organized pedestrian traffic along the boulevard ensuring a smooth flow for trick-or-treaters. While specific safety guidelines for 2024 have not been released yet, the event's emphasis on child safety suggests standard community safety practices will be in place.
