SEX OR EX: The Uncensored Love Story A comedy by Anthony Neilson - Mature Audiences Only!
Jimmy and Jessica, together for nine years, haven't shared a bed for the past 14 months. Tonight, they're putting it all out on stage - for better or for worse - before a live audience, as part of their couples therapy. If they can't deliver, it's game over. After all, Fido's more of a platonic friend, right?
"Sex or Ex" is a biting satire that takes a hard look at sexual desire and modern relationships, caught someplace between "50 Shades of Grey" and the #MeToo movement. Scottish author Anthony Neilson shines a spotlight on the cultural complexities surrounding masculinity and sexual dynamics in today's society, keeping audiences guessing and talking long after the curtains close.
Kronenbiss Theater Productions teamed up with Marcus Michael Mies and Julia Karl for a German production of this taboo-breaking play, setting the stage at Solingen's Theater Kammerspielchen in spring 2023. Since then, they've shared their provocative performance on various stages.

Two women hidden in the basement of a pharmaceutical wholesaler – all they have is each other, artificial light, and artificial ventilation to keep them company. What paths will they choose, and what secrets lurk beneath the surface?
Franz Hohler, a Swiss playwright with an absurdly funny edge, wrote this timeless and relevant play in the late 1970s. After the performance, stick around for a public discussion.
