Rebuilding Fire Station and Constructing a New Guardhouse in Lörrach's Agenda
In the heart of Lörrach, exciting changes are on the horizon for the city's fire department. The main fire station, along with those in Brombach and Tumringen, are set to undergo significant renovations and expansions, as announced by Mayor Monika Neuhofer-Avdic.
The Mayor emphasised that the concept planning forms the foundation for a modern and operational fire department, ensuring that Lörrach's residents and visitors continue to receive top-notch emergency services.
While the name of the chairman of the committee responsible for the implementation of the concept planning for the new fire station construction in Lörrach remains undisclosed, the project is moving forward. The estimated costs for these changes are approximately 4.7 million euros.
In the meantime, interim solutions are being put in place for the stations in Haagen and Hauingen. These include the construction of new halls and adaptations for black-white separation in changing areas, ensuring that the firefighters have the necessary facilities to carry out their duties effectively.
As the planning progresses, further committee consultations for the implementation of these changes are scheduled to take place shortly. Lörrach residents can look forward to a modernised and expanded fire department, ensuring the safety and security of their community for years to come.
