The city of Breddin, Brandenburg, is gearing up for its annual Septré Festival, taking place from September 12 to 14, 2025. As the festival approaches, some changes are happening around the city, particularly concerning the bike racks.

Starting on Monday, September 8th, at 6:00 AM, the dismantling of the bike racks will commence. This process does not relate to their reinstallation in October. Signs will be placed at the racks to indicate the start of dismantling.

Bicycle owners are asked to remove their bikes from the racks by latest Sunday evening. Any bicycles left in the racks after this time will need to be collected from the Lost and Found Office in City Hall 2 upon the racks' reinstallation in October. The office will continue to hold any bicycles left in the racks until they can be retrieved in October.

The dismantling of the bike racks on September 8th does not imply that they will be removed permanently. Instead, they will be stored away until their reinstallation after the festival's conclusion on September 13th.

For those planning to attend the festival on Saturday, September 13th, and arrive by bike, information about where to leave bicycles is not explicitly stated. However, given that the festival site mentions arrival by bike is possible with about a 15-minute ride from the Breddin train station and a walk of about three quarters of an hour from the station to the site, it is logical to assume bicycles can be left near or at the train station or the festival area itself on that day.

Bicycle owners who have removed their bikes from the racks before the festival's dismantling will not need to move them again until October. The festival's dismantling on September 8th does not affect the reinstallation of the bike racks or the festival's occurrence on September 12th and 13th.

So, if you're planning a bike ride to Breddin's Septré Festival, remember to remove your bike from the racks by Sunday evening, and enjoy the festival without worry, knowing your bike will be safely stored and ready for you when you return in October.
