The Brand House Collective Revives Bed Bath & Beyond with a Fresh Start

In a significant move, The Brand House Collective, formerly known as Kirkland's, Inc., has rebranded and acquired the rights to operate Bed Bath & Beyond Home stores, marking a new chapter for the iconic home goods brand. The announcement was made in July 2025, and the first Bed Bath & Beyond Home store opened its doors in Nashville, Tennessee on August 8.

The new concept, which aims to cater to modern family needs, focuses on seasonal home décor, bedroom furnishings, and bath and laundry products. Nashville serves as the pilot market for this refreshed Bed Bath & Beyond Home concept, with plans to expand into additional markets in the future.

For the grand opening, The Brand House Collective celebrated by reintroducing the iconic Bed Bath & Beyond coupons. Customers were welcomed to use legacy coupons from the original stores, including expired ones, reflecting the brand's commitment to honouring its history. The first 25 customers to make a purchase at the Nashville store received a special gift: "The Beyond Bed," a 10-inch queen-size memory foam mattress valued at $226.99.

Amy Sullivan, CEO of The Brand House Collective, described this relaunch not just as a store opening but a fresh start for a brand meaningful to many families. The aim is to position Bed Bath & Beyond Home as a neighborhood-focused retailer. The plan includes converting several Kirkland’s stores in the Nashville market and possibly expanding to 75 stores nationwide by 2026.

The rebranding was ratified by shareholders at the annual meeting, with the company officially taking on its new name and stock ticker-"TBHC"-on July 29. The store's launch marks the debut of Bed Bath & Beyond Home under the new corporate identity.

Prior to this, Overstock.com purchased Bed Bath & Beyond's intellectual property for $21.5 million in 2023. However, physical retail did not return immediately after the acquisition; Bed Bath & Beyond became an online-only brand for over a year. Overstock.com rebranded its website to BedBathandBeyond.com, keeping its product assortment but leveraging the better-known Bed Bath & Beyond name.

By July 2023, all remaining Bed Bath & Beyond and buybuy Baby brick-and-mortar stores were permanently closed, and inventory was liquidated. However, the rebranding of Bed Bath & Beyond Home by The Brand House Collective revives the brand, offering customers a reimagined store experience and a fresh start for a beloved home goods brand.

Employees may offer a token of appreciation to customers who held onto old Bed Bath & Beyond gift cards. Legacy Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, regardless of expiration, are being honoured at the new store. Freshly printed coupons will also be made available at the entrance for those who come without a coupon.

Shoppers can browse seasonal home décor, bedroom furnishings, and bath and laundry products at the revived Bed Bath & Beyond Home stores, which are part of The Brand House Collective's lifestyle offerings. In a move to honor the brand's history, legacy Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, including expired ones, are being accepted at the new stores.
