Schwandorf currently includes a permanent dwelling of city dwarves.
In a jovial atmosphere, the beloved kindergarten "Stadtzwerge" commemorated its 10-year milestone last Friday. The AWO district association Schwandorf announced this delightful occasion, praising the kindergarten as a cornerstone of childcare in the region. Ever since its inception in March 2015, it's been a warm, professional, and contemporary haven for little ones aged nine months to three years. Over the years, the "Stadtzwerge" family has cared for more than 200 precious tots with compassion, care, and pedagogical acumen.
"We take immense pride in the impact we've made," says Daniela Friedrich, chairwoman of Schwandorf Parents-Children Initiative. Andrea Müller, the kindergarten's inaugural director, was also present for the joyous event.
Ulrike Roidl, AWO district chairman, congratulated Andrea Müller on her decade-long association with the Workers' Welfare Association. The little "Stadtzwerge" greeted the guests with a specially-rehearsed birthday tune. "The 'Stadtzwerge' have played a pivotal role in achieving a harmonious balance between family and work in our district for the past ten years," Ulrike Roidl stated, accompanied by Anneliese Brock, the founding member of the first kindergarten in the Schwandorf district.
As the "Stadtzwerge" moves forward, it gazes towards the future brimming with hope, eager to welcome more growing personalities for many years to come.
