Seasonal fashion update: Attire option 6 from the summer 10x10 collection
In today's post, we're sharing an outfit that took the author a bit out of their comfort zone. The photo credit for this daring ensemble goes to Katie Jameson.
The outfit in question is a combination of mom jeans and a crop tank, a style that initially made the author hesitate. However, with a little encouragement from a voice in their head whispering, "Or...you might surprise yourself," they decided to give it a try.
The author styled the crop top with a plain outfit and a neutral palette to make the new style more approachable. They also paired the crop top with high-waisted jeans, a combination that hides the midriff when sitting or bending, making it less intimidating than initially thought.
Despite taking the weekend off from the 10×10 challenge, the author decided to wear an outfit from the challenge over the weekend. They wore this unexpected combination to dinner and a concert with friends and enjoyed it.
The author has teamed up with Lee of Style Bee for a remix challenge. This challenge involves 10 pieces of clothing, 10 outfits, and 10 days. Details for joining the remix challenge can be found here.
The 10×10 challenge is currently on day six, and the author will share outfit 7 tomorrow. In the meantime, readers are encouraged to share their outfits on Instagram with the #summer10x10 tag.
The author encourages readers to surprise themselves, even if the attempt doesn't work out. They invite readers to share their mantras that encourage them in the comments.
Affiliate links are provided for shopping the author's outfit and supporting Unfancy. The search results do not provide information about which person wore the clothing of the first 10×10 endurance set, the crop blouse, and the mom jeans for more than the weekend.
Readers are welcome to join the author in stepping out of their comfort zone and trying new styles. After all, you might just surprise yourself!
