Storytime Fairy Brings Olchi Magic to Dormagen Kindergartens
Maria Krüken, affectionately known as the Storytime Fairy, is set to captivate young minds in Dormagen's kindergartens this October. She'll be focusing on the delightful 'Olchi Time', bringing a series of engaging books and activities to the little ones.
Krüken's visit will centre around the lovable Olchis, green creatures who reside on a dump and spread joy wherever they go. She'll read from six Olchi books, including 'The Olchis from Schmuddelfing', 'A Dragon Festival for Firebelly', and 'The Little Dragon Mücke'. Children will also enjoy 'The Olchis Get a Pet', 'Aliens Arrive', and 'The Crafty Activity Book from Schmuddelfing'.
To enhance the experience, age-appropriate coloring pages will be provided. Krüken believes these stories can teach children about unity and perseverance, values that the Olchis embody in their own unique way.
While Krüken's previous visits saw her reading a variety of books, including 'Unser Düsseldorf' by Anke Kronemeyer and Anna Zörner, this October's focus on the Olchi series promises a fun and educational time for Dormagen's kindergarten children. The Storytime Fairy's dedication to engaging young readers with meaningful stories continues to enrich the literary experiences of the city's youngest residents.
