Street segment on Ongarsyna to remain closed until June

Hold up, drivers! Almaty's roads have a few surprises coming your way. By order of the city administration, Ongarsynovoy Street will be sealed off for construction work starting from June 5 till the 30th, our site confirms.
That stretch of Ongarsynovoy Street, from Kojabekova to Akberen, will experience temporary traffic restrictions. Pavement work for the installation of the western sewage collector is the culprit behind this disruption, so be prepared.
Need a detour? Swerve your way through Nesibe, Bes Arys, Borili Bayrak, Kojabekova, and Akberen streets to keep moving. Don't forget to factor these changes into your route planning!
Previous repair works
As a refresher, there were restrictions on two streets in the Almalinsky district due to the reconstruction of heat networks. From June 3 to July 6, traffic was blocked:
- Aiteyeva Street, from Bogenbai Batyr Street to Tolib Street (in both directions);
- Kazybek Bi Street, from Chokina Street to Isaev Street (in both directions).
