Justin Moss, a former marketing professional, has found a new passion in web design. After being laid off from his job after five years, Moss took a month off for his mental health before diving into the world of web design.
Moss's journey began when his friends reached out to him about a Halloween themed ride/theatrical experience they were building. With his marketing background and creative outlet through web design, Moss was the perfect fit. He built the website for the project using the Bootstrap framework in Adobe Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Moss' previous web design work served as a starting point for the new site, and he improved on previous assignments to create a unique and engaging user experience. The website, which was a success, marked the beginning of Moss's web design career.
Moss enjoys the challenge of figuring out how to make something happen with a website. He finds great enjoyment in learning new tricks to make website magic happen. This passion for web design is evident in the high-quality sites he creates, which are now accessible to small, struggling businesses.
Three other businesses have already reached out to Moss for help with their websites. Real Live Adventures, the company behind the Halloween themed ride, is planning to transition their Halloween hayride into a Holiday themed park and ride. Moss has incorporated a payment system into the new website, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for customers.
Moss's approach to web design is unique. He believes in making high-quality websites accessible to small businesses. To secure commercial projects, he built a portfolio showcasing his best work, engaged with design communities, networked actively, applied for freelance or part-time roles, and developed client-focused skills.
Moss is now planning to build his own website to make his ideas happen. With his passion for web design and his ability to deliver high-quality sites, Moss is poised to make a significant impact in the web design industry.
