Swimming Season Extended in Hesse: Enjoy the Remaining Days at Public Baths and Beaches

Exciting news for those looking to make the most of the remaining warm days in Hesse! Several public baths and beaches are extending their season, providing an opportunity for a final splash before autumn arrives.

The Forest Swimming Pool in Stockstadt am Main will remain open until 30th September, inviting visitors to enjoy a refreshing dip amidst the picturesque forest surroundings. For those planning a visit by car, tickets can only be purchased online. Pedestrians and cyclists, however, can buy their tickets directly at the entrance.

The beach at Hesse's largest lake, Lake Langen, is also reopening on Friday, 19th September, and will continue through Saturday, 20th September. If weather conditions are favourable on Sunday, 21st September, the beach may also open its doors for one more day. Visitors are advised to check the website for the latest information regarding the beach's operation on the 21st.

The Strandbad Langener Waldsee, usually open daily from mid-May to mid-September from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., will be the public bathing facility in Hesse that remains open on Sunday, 21st September, if the weather is favourable.

Other public baths in Hesse that are still open include the Family Bath Waechtersbach, which will close on 21st September, the Public Bath Bad Vilbel and Public Bath Niederdieten, Breidenbach, both of which will close on 30th September, and the Public Bath Kleinfeldchen in Wiesbaden, which will close on 21st September.

For those planning a visit to the beach at Lake Langen, it's important to note that admission tickets and parking tickets must be booked online via the website. Visitors can enjoy the beach from 10 AM to 7 PM on the mentioned days.
