Tom Daley to Host 'The Game of Wool', Launches 'Made With Love' Craft Collection
Tom Daley, the Olympic diving champion, is set to host a new competitive knitting show, 'The Game of Wool', on Channel 4 this autumn. The show comes as crafting, including activities like knitting and crocheting, gains popularity, with over half of respondents in a survey reporting improved mood and a sense of achievement from such activities.
Daley's 'Made With Love' collection, available from 2nd October, includes 11 kits inspired by animals and fruits. These range from crochet kits for dogs, zebras, and giraffes to embroidery designs and iron-on patches. The collection caters to both beginners and experienced crafters. Daley himself has expressed his excitement about the collection, stating it is designed to inspire creativity and allow makers to add their own unique touch to knitting and crochet projects. Additionally, Daley will compete in 'The Celebrity Traitors', starting on Channel 8th October.
