Geographically blessed, Chuong My is home to over 370 heritage sites and a variety of unique craft villages, including the famous Trảm Pagoda, Trăm Gian Pagoda, Vò Vi Pagoda, and Phú Vinh bamboo and rattan weaving village. Despite its potential, the district has yet to fully capitalize on its tourism offerings.
Recognizing the need to boost tourism, local authorities and Hà Nội's Department of Tourism have collaborated with travel agencies and experts to discuss strategies that would help Chuong My shine on the global stage. The aim of these discussions is encapsulated in a conference titled "Upgrading service quality and connecting tourist destinations of Chuong My District."
Bùi Mạnh Thắng, vice chairman of the Chuong My People's Committee, reveals that the district's tourism products and services are diverse, ranging from golf tourism, paragliding, spiritual tourism, craft village and agricultural tourism, to educational services. As of now, Chuong My boasts 14 tourist attractions, four of which will be recognized as city-level destinations by 2025-26, including the Wyndham Sky Lake Golf Course and Resort, Phú Vinh Craft Village, Trảm and Trăm Gian pagodas, and Mộc Lâm Viên Complex.

However, the potential of Chuong My is far from being fully realized, as its tourism development lacks a strategic and coordinated approach. According to Thắng, the current development is disjointed, leading to duplication, monotony, and fragmentation.
In an effort to propel the tourism industry forward, Chuong My has been focusing on cultivating agricultural, ecological, and community tourism, intertwined with local culture, beliefs, and traditional festivals. To accomplish this, the district plans to upgrade infrastructure and facilities and complete its Tourism Development Project to 2030, with a Vision to 2050. This comprehensive approach is expected to draw more investment into the local tourism industry.
By the end of 2025, the district anticipates welcoming approximately 250,000 visitors, 80,000 of whom are expected to be international travelers. The resulting enhanced tourism revenue is projected to significantly contribute to the district's economic restructuring, investment attraction, job creation, and overall improvement of its residents' well-being.
Trởng Trung Hiếu, deputy director of Hà Nội's Department of Tourism, acknowledges that although Chuong My is rich in historical and cultural traditions, beautiful landscapes, heritage sites, traditional craft villages, and unique ecological settings, it has yet to effectively exploit and develop its full potential. The local tourism products lack structure, and limited connections between destinations and promotion efforts present significant obstacles.

Đào Thị Kim Lan, director of the Royal Tour Company, suggests that Chuong My needs to focus on connecting tourist destinations and crafting tours and routes catering to various tourist groups. A comprehensive approach will help the district soar high and attract more visitors through effective promotion strategies and the establishment of compatible connections between destinations, accommodations, and travel businesses.
Đặng Văn Khang, director of KTS Tourist, concurs with these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of connectivity between tourist destinations, travel agencies, and neighboring localities. He suggests promoting activities to introduce and promote Chuong My's strengths and uniqueness, supplemented by effective promotion policies to encourage travel businesses to develop tours.
Cù Thị Thu Thủy, head of the Trade Promotion Department of Hà Nội Tourism Association, recommends integrating craft village tours to create unforgettable memories for visitors, allowing them to engage in ancient craft activities, purchase and craft products.
