Tourist information features new offerings from Pforzheim

In the heart of Pforzheim, a charming city in southwest Germany, the Tourist Information has unveiled a fresh collection of products that showcase the city's unique identity and culture.

Led by Isabell Prior, head of the Tourist Information, and her colleague Claudia Eitel, the team from the municipal company Wirtschaft und Stadtmarketing Pforzheim (WSP) has created a range of new products that celebrate the local dialect and its exclusive terms.

Renowned artist Dieter H.F. Goldenbaum, known for his ink drawings, watercolors, and graphics, has contributed his work to the collection, with two postcard motifs currently available: the Schlosskirche and the view of the Enz towards the city church, each priced at 90 cents. Two more motifs by Goldenbaum will be available soon.

The collection includes a black cotton bag made from organic cotton, priced at 4 euros, and a cheese board, A3 poster, and additional postcards featuring dialect terms such as "Do guggsch, gell!", "Zwetschgeaärschle", "plotze" and "Muggesegelle".

The new products are not only intended for giving as gifts or souvenirs for guests, but also for Pforzheim's citizens. The black cotton bag has been available for purchase at the Tourist Information for some time, and the other items are now available as well.

The new products aim to preserve a part of Pforzheim's identity and culture and present it in a fresh way. During the creation process, Isabell Prior had to guess the meanings of some unique terms, adding to the charm of these locally-inspired products.

If you're seeking these specialized local products, the Tourist Information at the Schlossberg is the place to visit. Embrace Pforzheim's unique dialect and culture by picking up a postcard, poster, or bag, and take a piece of this charming city home with you.
