The anthology "Crooked Luck," a collection of poems and stories from 60 authors with ties to Bergisches Land, will be presented on June 25 in the Bensberg town hall. The book, edited by Evert Everts and Gisela Becker-Berens, showcases a wide range of literary talents from the Rheinisch-Bergischer and Oberbergischer districts.
In the fall of 2024, Wort & Kunst launched a public appeal for participation in the anthology and received numerous submissions. The selected pieces represent a diverse array of themes and perspectives, all steeped in the rich heritage of the Bergisches Land.
On Sunday, June 25, at 11:00 AM, the anthology will be presented at the Bensberg town hall. Excerpts from the collection will be read aloud, accompanied by the enchanting music of harpist Sarah Botzian.
