Volunteer Organization Initiates Discussion Forum Titled 'Conversations Unwind'
The city of Halle, Saale is set to host a series of community dialogues titled "Dazusetzen & Mitreden" from August to October 2025. Organised by HALLIANZ for Diversity and the Volunteer Agency Halle (Saale), the dialogue series aims to foster meaningful conversations and community engagement around local social topics, particularly focusing on the future of Halle and citizen involvement.
The dialogue series will take place in various locations across the city, including Bürgerpark FreiFeld, Stadtteilzentrum Passage 13, Emmausgemeinde community center in Halle-Neustadt, and more. The first event, scheduled for August 27, 2025, at the Johannesgemeinde in the southern city center, will focus on the question "Deine Zukunft in Halle?" (Your Future in Halle?), discussing the need for common spaces to talk constructively about Halle's future.
Subsequent events will continue the dialogue series, with topics ranging from cohabitation in the neighbourhood to safety in the quarter or on the streets. Notable events include the Neighbourhood meeting "Vally Guttmann" on August 13, 2025, and the event at HWG-Nachbarschaftstreff/Freiwilligen-Agentur Halle (Saale) on September 17, 2025.
The dialogue series will provide a platform for people to discuss their experiences, feelings, and opinions, with on-site drinks and snacks available during the events. Registration may be required for some events, such as the WELCOME-Treff & Damigra e.V event on October 9, 2025, and the event at Silberhöhe, "Man sieht sich" wagon on August 21, 2025.
Participation in the dialogue series is free, making it accessible to all members of the community.
