According to Vera Yakoveva, Director of FESCO's Department of Corporate Social Responsibility, "In this year marking the anniversary of the Great Victory, we're focusing on preserving our heroic past through our initiatives—including the 'FESCO for Kids' project. We aim to help children from Primorye understand the heroic deeds of that era, feel pride in their homeland's history, which is tightly linked to our company. During the war, 25 ships and over 400 sailors of the Far Eastern Shipping Company didn't return, and their legacy lives on through generations."
The "FESCO for Kids" project has been running since 2021. They reprint beloved Soviet children's and teenage books and publish new ones, and they organize educational events. Over 400,000 books donated by the Group can be found in kindergartens, schools, medical and rehabilitation facilities, children's shelter support centers, libraries in Moscow and Kazan. ANO "Initiativa" manages the project.
